The Purpose
This is the wheel that started it all. We've updated the specs over the years, but the principle has always remained the same: maximise durability whilst minimising any drawbacks in riding characteristics. A wheel not just designed to endure the worst two seasons, but deliver performance reliably all year round.
Back in 2015, we realised that the specification and weights of the existing available 700c road/CX disc wheels were not ideal for a performance bike that would be used in all weather conditions. A lightweight, durable year-round disc wheel was one of our first projects, and the outcome was the award-winning HUNT 4 Season Disc wheel.
The 19mm (internal) rim profile is designed for 25-30mm tyres, but will work well from 23-45mm. (check compatibility with tyre manufacturer).

- Rims | HFR (High Fatigue Resistance) heat-treated alloy. Tubeless-ready. 700c Disc Specific. Asymmetric for a highly-durable wheel build. H-lock bead-seat for easy and secure tubeless installation. Now featuring a black night-safe reflective decal on rim – perfect for visibility during low-light/night riding.
- Tyres | Wide 19mm rim bed creates a wide tyre profile. Great with 23 tyres, ideal for 25, 28 and cross tyres up to 45c. Also work excellently with clincher tyres and tubes.
- Hubs | HUNT 4 Season Disc J-bend spoke hubs with extra bearing shielding. 10° FastEngage 4-pawl freehub, with H_CERAMIK coating for enhanced durability. SRAM XDR Driver available. Centre-lock disc mount.
- Axles | Easily adaptable & we fit them for you. Fit all current axle sizes and are easy to change; Front - QR, Bolt thru 12/15/9mm, Rear - QR, Bolt thru 12x142, 12x135, 10x135.
- Hand-built | All of our wheels are built and finished by hand, inclusive of a full quality control inspection.

Rims
- Tubeless-ready – designed to work excellently with normal clincher tyres and tubes or tubeless tyres. Hunt Black Shield tubeless tape fitted. Hunt Wedgr black tubeless valves included.

Spokes

- Brass for anti-corrosion resistance.
- Square body for external adjustment and hex head for easy internal adjustment/tensioning.

Tyres Info
- Maximum tyre pressure for this rim is 100psi when used with 25-28mm tyres. Maximum tyre pressures for other tyre sizes: 30mm - 32mm do not exceed 70psi, 33mm do not exceed 50psi, 35-45mm do not exceed 45psi, 45-50mm do not exceed 40psi. 100 psi is more than enough for any rider on road.
- The maximum pressure of your tyre may be lower than the maximum pressure for the rim - never exceed the maximum pressure written on the side of your tyre
- Suitable for tyres from 23mm up to 50mm wide.
- Suitable tubeless road, gravel and CX tyres are available from a huge range of companies.
Axle Size
- This wheel is available with all existing disc brake road bike axle adapter sizes. All our axle adapters are easy to swap but we'll fit the adapters your bike needs to save you the work. After your order checkout is completed a simple form will show, as well as being sent to you in your confirmation email. The form allows you to select the axle size your bike needs, don't worry it also includes the option to tell us your bike model and we will find out and then fit the correct axles, plus we're happy to change them later at our cost if you don't quite get it right. Front Hub

Warranty, HUNT Rolling Road Tests & Weight Limits
A full 3 years from purchase date warranty is offered to the original purchaser only on all Hunt bike wheels against material or workmanship defects, .
All HUNT wheels models have to pass our harsh cobbled-rolling-road tests for rider weight limits, . Max system weight 115kg (system weight – total weight of fully kitted up rider, bike and luggage). If a rider is over 105Kgs then an experienced bike mechanic should check the wheel regularly and it is advisable to use minimum 25mm tyres at max 100psi as this will reduce the fatigue on the wheel. We are cyclists ourselves and do of course go above and beyond to offer excellent service if you ever do experience any issues. We carry full spares at very reasonable prices and offer complete support.

We are cyclists and as such strive to offer class leading service and support. Buy with confidence, if for any reason you wish to return the wheel for a full refund of your order you can do so up to a full 60 days after you receive them whether they have been ridden or not. Please note we cannot offer refunds on wheels that have suffered from crash damage but do offer a crash replacement discount.
